5. Search for
Chinese, select Chinese (Simplified, China) and click Next.6. Check Set as my Windows display language and Language pack, then click
Install.7. Wait for the download to finish (2-5 minutes). When prompted to sign out, click Yes, sign out now and reconnect RDP.
Solution 2: Change System Locale (Fix Garbled Text)
If some Chinese applications still display garbled text or??? after changing the display language, you need to adjust the system locale for non-Unicode programs.1. Open Region Settings
Run CMD as Administrator and execute:intl.cpl2. Change System Locale
Switch to the Administrative tab in the pop-up window and click Change system locale....3. Select Chinese (Simplified, China)
Choose Chinese (Simplified, China) from the drop-down menu, clickOK, and restart your server for the changes to take effect.IMPORTANT: Ensure a stable connection during language installation. If you are using a Cloud Server or VPS, we recommend taking a snapshot/backup before making major system changes.
